UPDATE: Got back home on Monday, and the very next day I came down with a nasty cold :( I've just about gotten over it now, and hopefully will have destroyed it totally by tomorrow.
At any rate, the benefit was awesome and a huge success. Lots of family, family friends, and even friends of friends were there. Prior to it, during a conversation with my cousin (who were hosting it at their restaurant), they figured ~350 people might show up. After it was over, they think over 600 had came through. :) At the time, CL only had $288, but I knew we'd do at least $400 so that's what I put towards the raffle tickets. Thus, at the end of Jan, anything over $400 I'll send them as a check. In the meantime here's a pic of the raffle tickets I had gotten just in case anyone was skeptical (or more importantly, their parents) :P
There were many many other raffles from things like store gift cards to a 'Quarter of Beef' which means you'd get 1/4 of the meat that a cow would yield heh (which for $20 is a lot of steaks and hamburger). However, these were for the main prize where there'd be 3 drawings from the same bucket of tickets, so you had 3 chances to win. First pick gets a personal yacht ride and tour around Lake Superior in the summer, second pick gets a collectible (old but never used) hunting rifle, and then third pick gets a 65inch Sony 4K UHD-TV. Unfortunately I didn't get any of them, but in the end doesn't matter! I'd have been bummed out over it had it been a typical raffle but can honestly say I didn't feel bad about it at all :D
So yea, as soon as I get over this cold I'll get back to 1.10.5 server update stuffs!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be gone from Jan 19 - Jan 23 to attend a Benefit that's being held for my Aunt and Uncle (and subsequently, my cousins) to help raise money for hospital bills. Around Spring of last year my Uncle was diagnose with Stage 4 Lung Cancer which they had to take out an entire lung. Then they found some in his backbone and had to remove some vertebrae. Things were going relatively OK until Fall, when they found a brain tumor that wasn't operable and had to hit it with drug treatment, which only barely kept it under control. In between all of that there were various trips to the ER, which to make it worse they live over an hour away from a hospital capable of handling that type of emergency, so it results in an even more expensive ambulance ride (which are, if you didn't know, quite expensive on their own even if it's just down the road). THEN... if things weren't bad enough, my Aunt was found to have Breast Cancer around November, and had a double-mastectomy... something their daughter just went through 2 years ago. :( So this benefit is just something to raise some money for them to help pay off the insurmountable hospital bills.
As such, I've decided that everything that Crafter's Legacy makes this month will get passed along to them in order to help them out (the server/site fees will can come from past months)! In addition to that I'll be putting up the "SCREW YOU CANCER, AND KISS OUR COLLECTIVE ASSES!" 15%-Off Sale, which will begin now and run until the end of the month. I know 15%-off doesn't seem like much, but that's sort of the point, to bring in as much as possible in order to help them out.
Alternatively, if you'd rather simply help out and aren't interested in receiving anything except my deepest thanks, you're welcome to send whatever amount to: PayPal.Me/Formua350 (select Friend/Family choice if it asks), and just put "Cancer" in the provided Message box.
Have a good weekend, stay healthy, thank you, and I'll cya in a few days!
[Lets just stick with calling me Form, though heh]
